Technology of Hope

The God of Hope fills you with joy and peace in believing…Romans 15:13

If God is called the God of Hope then hope is very important. He never calls Himself the God of Faith. Without hope faith cannot work for faith is the substance of things hoped for. So it is important to know what you are hoping for.

Abraham accessed grace before grace was poured out through Jesus Christ in the New Covenant. Noah too – he found grace in the eyes of the Lord. They crossed centuries and stepped into the arena of grace by faith to fulfill God’s promises to them. Hope energized their expectations that were contrary to to all reasonable and natural prospects and activated the prophetic word in their lives. Hope expanded them beyond their natural potential to give their lives universal and eternal consequences. Every rainbow reminds us of Noah and Abraham became the father of faith to all believers.

This lively hope that God gives does not disappoint. (Romans 5:5) It is the means by which we come into god’s expected end for our lives. Hope breeds enthusiasm and eagerness and adds to our ability to endure. We have joy and peace in believing. We learn to convert anxious waiting into invisible realities where our joy and peace are constant.

Hope takes our spiritual activities behind the veil into the presence of God where our governmental prayers and spiritual worship serves the living God and where he impacts our spirits with renewed power and grace.

Hope is an anchor to our souls, a stabilizing force in the midst of earthly circumstances that speaks of disorder. (Hebrews 6:19)

We touch dimensions of the world to come through lively Hope. It is the power of an endless life through blessed hope.

Hope is a confident expectation based on trust that is willing to wait and keep on waiting until that which is hope for becomes reality.

Romans 15:13 Now may the God of Hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing that you may abound with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

The Hebrew understanding of hope is that you cast your cares on someone that you trust. You remain strong as you wait for your expectation.

When Abraham’s hope was all shriveled up in the plains of Mamre, God gave him new hope by God’s own presence and reminder of His promises. He lifted Abraham’s downcast eyes up again and refreshed him in the heat of the day. God stirred Abraham up to action again. Instead of sitting down in the dumps at the entrance to his tent Abraham got up and ran to worship God in a meaningful way! (he did not just go through the motions of singing a few fast songs and then a few slow songs and call it worship!) God replaced Abraham’s lethargy with a new infusion of divine energy.

Abraham thought he was alone in his quest to obey God and suddenly saw new divine connections that birthed a new hop and vision in his heart!

Today I pray for you that God will stir up a lively hope within you and energize you with hope so that you will be stirred up into action once again! May you be infused with new strength and may your vision become clear so that your faith may operate with divine vigor. May you step up into your destiny and God’s purposes for your life and live a fulfilled life to the greater glory of God and the betterment of humanity.

Amen.
